Ward 4

I was extremely disappointed with my recent order. The Caesar salad was soggy and wet, and the fries were burnt to a crisp — totally inedible. I ended up throwing the food away. I emailed the restaurant the day of, explaining the issues, and never received a response. This was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time, and the lack of customer service makes it clear I won’t be ordering from here again.

I had a wonderful experience at Ward 4. The environment was excellent from the moment we arrived. The bartender actually came to our table to check on us, which felt very thoughtful. She carefully explained the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic, the fish tacos and the buffalo tenders were absolutely incredible and full of flavor. I also loved the elegant Boston-inspired décor. It has the charm of a lovely pub while still feeling refined and welcoming. Ward 4 is a hidden gem. Great whiskey list, excellent apps.

The food is awesome, great portions. But what is really good is the customer service, Dillon was the best he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Walter made us feel like we were part of his family, I would definitely come back

I just moved to Auburndale. I love Ward 4. I feel very lucky to have such a friendly, warm atmosphere with great food right in my neighborhood.

we had a group of 10 and they seated us in a room off to the side. Our waiter was very fast. The food came out very quickly, hot and all orders correct. Thank you. We will definitely come back.

Amazing burgers!

Food was tasty. Service was good. Most of the patrons at the time we were there were in the bar area.

5-star tavern experience. Ward 4 is a hidden gem tucked away in Newton. Try the Brussel sprouts with pickled apples. With apps, drinks, and entrees, the price point was perfect. It didn’t break the bank like dining in Boston.

Fantastic options for GF folk!

Ordered two burgers, one medium and one medium well. What we got was one rare burger that was very red in middle and the other was medium well but the outside was so burnt all you tasted was charcoal. Waiter didn’t ask how things were or tasted. Fries were half soggy and half burnt bits.

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere was great but unfortunately the food was very average. I wish we went somewhere else ! I would go there to grab a drink at the bar but wouldn’t eat here.
